POTS FOR PLANTS

Pamper your plants with some homemade pottery, it can be anything from pots, hanging pots, signs for herbs, or something completely different.

With coiling and slap technique, we are going to design things in clay that can be used for plants. We use our hands and simple tools to shape the clay.

For there to be room in the kiln for everyone’s pieces to be fired, the maximum height and width of the creations is 15 cm.

After the workshop, the creations are fired and glazed. It will take around one month before you can pick up your finished ceramic. We will send an email when your ceramics is ready to be picked up.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The workshop takes 2.5 hours and costs DKK 200 per. person. The price includes teaching, materials, firing, and glazing, done by Absalon’s potters.

Absalon’s ceramics workshop is located on the 3rd floor of the room called ‘Børnehavnen’ (The Kindergarten). You get up there by using the stairs at the bar. There is no elevator.

Wear clothes that can bear getting dirty. Our ceramicists will be guiding and giving you advice, but we can’t guarantee that all the clay creations will make it through the firing.

NOTE: Remember to buy your tickets for the correct date below. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date.
