It’s a Friday bar in the ceramics workshop!
Come and enjoy a beer and the Friday atmosphere while making some pottery. We will be making portraits of each other, so bring a friend, family member, or partner or come and make new friends.
It’s not about making something perfect, here you can just have fun and be creative. We start with a lump of clay, which we shape and hollow so that it becomes a portrait of your ceramic partner. We use our hands and simple tools to shape the clay.
After the workshop, the creations are fired and glazed. You can pick up the finished ceramic piece in around a month. We will email you when your items are ready to be picked up.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Absalon’s ceramics workshop is on the third floor in the room called ‘Børnehaven’ (The Kindergarten). You get there by using the stairs at the bar; there is no elevator.
The workshop lasts 2 hours and costs 220 kr per person. The price includes one beer, all materials, firing, and glazing done by Absalon’s potters. Wear clothes that can bear getting dirty.
Our ceramicists will guide and advise you, but we can’t guarantee that all the clay creations will survive the firing.
NOTE: Make sure to buy tickets for the correct date below. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date.
