FAMILY SUNDAY WORKSHOP

Spend your Sunday in Absalon being creative and having fun. It’s every Sunday from 10-13 in the main hall.

We will be glueing, painting, cutting and creating different things each time. The family workshops are for kids together with their parents, friends or grandparents.

You can buy hot chocolate, sodas or a bun with cheese in the bar.

PROGRAM

Søndag the 3rd of  March – Cut a bird
We’ll cut, glue and decorate paper birds.

Sunday the 10th of March – Collages 
Today we will be cutting, glueing and making collages with colourful paper and cutouts.

Sunday the 17th of March  – No workshop because of the Vintage Marked 

Sunday the 24th of March – Make an egg 
Today we are making three-dimensional eggs with colours and prints.

Sunday the 31st of March – Decorate a pot for plants – CANCELLED 
We’ll decorate pots for plants with colours and fill them with seeds and soil.

Sunday the 7th of April – Bind a book
This Sunday we will make and decorate books to write or draw in.

Sunday the 14th of April – Bubblepaint 
Today we will blow bubbles and make colourful pictures with paint on watercolour paper.

Sunday, April 21st – Cardbord palaces
Today we will be cutting, gluing and building houses, towers or palaces out of cardboard.

Sunday, April 28th – Embroid on paper
This Sunday we will embroid on paper or cardboard with colourfull yarn and pearls.

Sunday, May 5th – Decorate a flowerpot
Today we are in springmode and we will be decorating flowerpots with colours. We will later put soil and seeds in it, so we can grow our own plants or flowers.

Sunday the 12th of May – Decorate a box
We will today decorate cardboard boxes so we can store all of our best things. We will decorate the boxes with colours and glitter.

Sunday the 19th of May – Weave a wall decoration
This Sunday we will be making wall decorations! We will weave with different types of yarn and make our own personal wall decoration.

Sunday the 26th of May – No workshop today because we have the Art Matter Exhibition

Sunday the 2nd of June – Make a pearl figure
Today we will create figures out of wire and pearls. You can form them as you like and make a house, a fantasy animal or something third.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

It costs 40 kr. to participate. You buy your ticket on the day.

We have all the materials you need.

The workshop is open from 10-13 and is drop-in, so you don’t have to be there right from the start. As long as you come before 12, so you have time enough to create something.
