FAMILY SUNDAY WORKSHOP

Spend your Sunday in Absalon being creative and having fun. It’s every Sunday from 10-13 in the main hall.

We will be glueing, painting, sewing, cutting and creating different things each time. The family workshops are for kids together with their parents, friends or grandparents.

You can buy hot chocolate, sodas or a bun with cheese in the bar.

PROGRAM

Sunday the 1st of September – Embroid on paper
This Sunday we will embroid on paper with colourful yarn. Emboid a fish or your name and make a card or a piece for the wall.

Sunday the 8th of September – Make your own book
Today we will make our own books out of paper. We will be sewing the pages together with needle and thread. You can use the book for writing stories or drawing.

Sunday the 15th of September – Watercolour decorations
Today we will be making paper rosettes and decorate them with watercolour.

Sunday the 22nd of September – Make a cardboard game
This Sunday we will experiment with making homemade games out of cardboard. Maybe you have dreamt of making your own puzzle, a marble lybrinth or something third. Today you have the chance and it’s from 10-12.
Today we have a board game market in Salen at the same time. Here you can find a new board game for the collection.

Sunday the 29th of September – Make a sock animal
Today we will be making animals out of socks and decorate them with eyes, hair and maybe something else. We will be using needle, thread and hot glue.

Sunday the 6th of October – Decorate a box
We will today decorate cardboard boxes so we can store all of our best things. We will decorate the boxes with colours and glitter.

Sunday the 13th of October – Felting workshop
This Sunday we will be needle felting with colourful yarn. It is up to you what you would like to felt. We have all the materials you need.

Sunday the 20th of October – Build with cardboard
Come and build a castle, a house for your teddy or something third out of cardboard! We have glue, glitter and other thing to decorate with.

Sunday the 27th of October – Cut and collage 
This Sunday we will cut, glue and create collages. We have a lot of fun paper and magazines that you can put together, into your very own collage. 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

It costs 40 kr. to participate. You buy your ticket on the day.

We have all the materials you need.

The workshop is open from 10-13 and is drop-in, so you don’t have to be there right from the start. As long as you come before 12, so you have time enough to create something.
