ELECTRONIC MUSIC FOR BEGINNERS

Are you curious about electronic music? Then come and join this course in electronic music for beginners!

In this course, you will get an introduction to working creatively and playfully with sounds and music. We will start from scratch and work with concepts for creating and listening to music.

We will be working in the music program Abelton 11, and you will be introduced to the basic elements that the program has. Abetelton 11 is used by professional musicians as well as hobby producers.

If you are new to making music electronically but curious to explore it, this course is right for you.

Electronic music is a broad genre that can occur in all genres. Most of the sounds in the music are generated by electronic music instruments. You will learn about sampling, sound- and midi-effects, and the different instruments in Abelton.

We meet on Wednesdays the 15th, 22nd and 29th of May from 16-18.

It costs 500 kr. to join. You can buy your ticket below.

The ticket is non-refundable and can’t be changed to another date.

Before we meet for the first time, please download the music program Abelton 11. The program gives you a free trial you can use during the course. Bring your computer (either PC or MAC) and headphones, and for the first class, bring a piece of music that inspires you.
