BACHATA FOOTWORK WORKSHOP

This workshop is designed to introduce you to the rhythmical footwork of Dominican Bachata style.

Dominican bachata is the original style of bachata, which came from Dominican Republic. It’s distinguished by fast steps, dynamic hip action, also an overall playful and rhythmical style. 

The music for Dominican bachata emphasizing more the sound of percussion and guitar. And generally has a faster tempo and a more upbeat compared to Sensual bachata.

Whether you’re looking to spice up your solo dance routine or just want to experience the new style of Dominican Bachata, this workshop is a perfect blend of fun and joy from fundamental bachata moves.

• You will learn a bachata choreography, focusing on footwork and Dominican style 
• You will get some techniques to make your footwork quick and precise

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The class will be taught in English.

Price: 100 kr./person

Location: ’Klubben’ at 1st floor.

Level: beginner/improver 

NB! Remember to wear indoor shoes for dancing and movement, as we are not allowed to wear outdoor shoes in the club. If you dance in stilettos, the heel must be plastic/rubber. If it is made of metal, it must be protected with a plastic/rubber cover.
