Afrobeats is a West African music genre that mixes genres such as hip-hop, dancehall, soca, R&B etc. The genre has its origins in Nigeria, Ghana and Great Britain in the 00s and 10s. Afrobeats also draws inspiration from the genre “Afrobeat” and Fela Kuti in the 60s and 70s.

DJ MOF!YAH (DK)

DJ MOF!YAH has brought warm tones to many dance floors in Denmark and Sweden. She has played at Distortion, Vega, Copenhagen Pride, P3 Din Gata and has been the opening act for the UK rapper Ms Banks and the DK rapper FVN.

Mof!yah uses her African roots as inspiration to move around genres such as Afrobeats, Hip Hop, R&B and Reggaeton.
