Join us for 1,5 hour of pilates in Absalon.
In this workshop you will be challenged on strength, flexibility, balance and stability with focus on the core muscles (abs and back). Learn concious breathing while you’re guided through a flow of classic and modern pilates exercises. Pilates can help your posture and build strength. Maybe you will leave the workshop feeling a but taller than when you came.
Most exercises are lying down and sitting on the mat. The teacher will adjust the class according to level and needs of the participants. Everyone can join. We start gently and increase the intensity along the way, so that we also get to sweat. Finally, there is stretching and relaxation, so you are ready for the rest of your weekend.

Emma Hedemann is a trained pilates instructor from BASI Pilates. She has worked with the body for over 10 years and has a great passion for sharing her joy of movement with others. She has also taken a 3-year dance course and worked as a modern dancer in Berlin.

Where: ‘Klubben’ on the 1st floor
Wear clothes that allow movement and maybe some water. We have mats but you are welcome to bring your own.
