It’s Friday bar in the ceramics workshop!
Come and enjoy a beer, and the Friday atmosphere, while making some pottery. We are going to be making portraits of each other, so bring a friend, family member, or partner or come and make new friends.
It’s not about making something perfect, here you can just have fun and be creative. We start with a lump of clay, which we shape and hollow so that it becomes a portrait of your ceramic partner. We use our hands and simple tools to shape the clay.
After the workshop, the creations are fired and glazed. It can take around a month before you can pick up the finished ceramic piece. We will send an email when your things are ready to be picked up.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Absalon’s ceramics workshop is located on the 3rd floor in the room called ‘Børnehaven’ (The Kindergarten). You get there by using the stairs at the bar. There is no elevator.
The workshop lasts 2 hours and costs DKK 200 per. person. The price includes one beer, all materials, firing, and glazing, done by Absalon’s potters. Wear clothes that can bear getting dirty.
Our ceramicists will be guiding and giving you advice, but we can’t guarantee that all the clay creations will make it through the firing.
NB: Make sure to buy tickets for the correct date below. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date.
