CUP & BOWL

Come and give shape to your very own cup with a handle or bowl that can be used for anything.

We will make functional and decorative ceramics using pinching and coiling techniques. We use our hands and simple tools to transform the clay from a hard lump into a finished object.

After the workshop, the creations are fired and glazed. It can take around a month before you can pick up the finished cup or bowl. We will send an email when your ceramics is ready to be picked up.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The 2.5-hour workshop costs 220 kr. per person. We are changing the price to 220 kr. from the new year. The price includes teaching, materials, firing, and glazing by Absalon’s potters.

Absalon’s ceramics workshop is on the 3rd floor in the room called Børnehavnen. You get up there by using the stairs at the bar. There is no elevator.

Wear clothes that can bear getting dirty.

Our ceramicists will guide and advise you, but we can’t guarantee that all the clay creations will survive the firing.

NOTE: Remember to buy your tickets for the correct date below. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date.
