FAMILY SUNDAY WORKSHOP

Spend your Sunday in Absalon being creative and having fun. It’s every Sunday from 10-13 in the main hall.

We will be glueing, painting, sewing, cutting and creating different things each time. The family workshops are for kids together with their parents, friends or grandparents.

You can buy hot chocolate, sodas or a bun with cheese in the bar.

PROGRAM

Saturday the 1st of March – Make your own mask
Make your own mask out of coloured paper, feathers, sequins and other nice stuff. You can use your mask as a part of your costume for Fastelavn or just to play with. We have all the materials you need. 

Sunday the 2nd of March – Fastelavn
Today we will be celebrating Fastelavn in Absalon, with all the traditions we love. Come in your favorite costume and read more about the event here

Sunday the 9 th of March – Bubblepaint
We will be blowing bubbles and make colourful pictures with paint and watercolour paper.

Sunday the 16th of March – No workshop today since we are having a Vintage Marked

Sunday the 23rd of March – Embroid on paper
This Sunday we will be embroiding on paper. We will embroid on paper with colourful yarn and a needle.

Sunday the 30th of March  – Make your own book
Today we will make our own books out of paper. We will be sewing the pages together with needle and thread. You can use the book for writing stories or drawing.

Sunday the 6th of April – Make a sock animal
This day we will make a sock animal out of socks and decorate them with eyes and hair or something third. We will be using thread, needle and hot glue. 

Sunday the 13th of April – Felt an Easter egg
Today we will be felting with colored wool and a needle on a foam egg. The eggs can hang and decorate in your room.

Sunday the 20th of April – Easter decorations 
We will be cutting, glueing and sewing different kind of Easter decorations and ornaments. It might be the Easter bunny or a cute chicken. 

Sunday the 27th of April – Bead workshop
This Sunday we will be making different kind of thing with beads. You can make a necklace, bracelet, something for your teddy or a keychain.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

It costs 40 kr. to participate. You buy your ticket on the day.

We have all the materials you need.

The workshop is open from 10-13 and it is drop-in, so you don’t have to be there right from the start. As long as you come before 12, so you have time enough to create something.
