DANCEHALL WORKSHOP

Come and dance to rhythms from Jamaica at the Dancehall workshop in Absalon!

We turn up the heat for an hour of Dancehall dance this Saturday. We focus on simple steps and techniques, including hip rotations (whine), jiggles, and pops/drops. We end with some choreography you can pull out the next time you are on the floor.

You don’t need any dance experience. Everyone can join.

About our teacher
Anna Martinsen has worked as a professional dancer for several years as a teacher, performer and coordinator. She has Hotstepper’s dance education in her back pocket and actively participates in the dancehall community in Denmark.

Price: DKK 75 per person

Room: ‘The club’ on the 1st floor

Please arrive in good time, we will start on time.

NOTE: Remember to bring indoor shoes for dancing and movement, as we cannot wear outdoor shoes in the club.
