CPH:DOX X ABSALON: FILM & QUIZ

In partnership with the documentary film festival CPH:DOX and DKpop events, we invite you to a film and quiz about the K-pop music group BTS and their fans.

We start the evening in true ARMY style when DKpopevents hand out specially designed freebies/gifts to everyone. Before the quiz, there will be an opportunity to take pictures with cutouts of BTS band members, explore statements from fans, and, if you like, describe what BTS means to you.

Before the movie, we gather at the tables in the hall for a quiz about BTS and their fans, ARMY, in collaboration with DKpopevents. Everyone can participate, whether you’re a hardcore ARMY member or have only just heard of BTS. After the quiz, we will show the movie Forever We Are Young. Afterward, you can stay in Absalon until midnight.

About the film: ‘Forever We Are Young’ presents a captivating introduction to BTS and offers a fascinating overview of K-pop – one of the most complex phenomena in the musical landscape of the 21st century. BTS’s global army of loyal superfans, ARMY, is a diverse and politically conscious movement that spans generations and cultures. Read more about the film HERE.

DKpopevents is a volunteer-run event organization consisting of three K-pop fans who create K-pop-related events in their spare time. The organization holds events in cafés, libraries, cinemas, and concerts, where K-pop musicians are celebrated with decorations, activities, games, and freebies. The events create a safe environment where K-pop fans can freely cultivate their interests and meet other fans.
