DJ MOF!YAH returns to bring heat with the hottest Afrobeats tunes, making sure no one stands still on the dance floor. This year, we’re turning up the party even more—at our first Afrobeats Party of the year, Wafande will join us to perform his finest and newest music!

The Afrobeats Genre
Afrobeats is a vibrant West African music genre that blends styles like hip-hop, dancehall, R&B, and electronic music. Rooted in Nigeria and Ghana, the genre emerged in the late 2000s and draws inspiration from “Afrobeat,” made world-famous by Fela Kuti in the 1960s and 70s.

Wafande (DK/TZ)
For over a decade, Wafande has charmed his way into the hearts of Danes with a string of hits and his radiant personality. He first burst onto the scene with the ultimate summer anthem “Gi’ Mig Et Smil” and his debut album Du Ved Det in 2011.

He’s also a familiar face from popular TV shows like Toppen af Poppen and Voice Junior.

Love shines through in his compositions, lyrics, and especially in his live performances. On stage, Wafande consistently proves why he’s one of Denmark’s most powerful live performers, full of surprises and guaranteed to deliver an unforgettable party every time.

DJ MOF!YAH (DK/RW)
DJ MOF!YAH is a wellknown Afro DJ who has made her mark on dance floors in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, and Switzerland. She has performed at major events such as Roskilde Festival, Distortion, Copenhagen Pride, NorthSide, Nibe Festival, and P3 Din Gata. She’s also opened for big names like Omah Lay, CKay, Tayc, Diamond Platnumz, DJ Maphorisa, L.A.X., TxC, and Ms Banks.

With her African roots as inspiration, she creates a unique experience, seamlessly blending Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Reggaeton to keep the dance floor on fire.
